Heather Mikes

Heather Mobley Mikes is Vice President of Regional Operations. She is responsible for developing comprehensive marketing and communications strategies for businesses located throughout Southwest and Central Florida. She also is responsible for business development and liaison with community groups on behalf of the firm.

Mikes produces creative concepts for clients seeking to develop corporate imaging and branding. She also plans special promotional events on behalf of her clients, which garner both publicity and attendance by local and state dignitaries. Her team, including art director Audrey Rohlehr, has been internationally recognized for their marketing and advertising campaigns.

Mikes joined Wragg & Casas in the Miami office Public Affairs Division in 2000. She was responsible for development and execution of communications plans, which focused on government and community relations. She has worked on several successful candidate and issue-oriented political campaigns including the defeat of three ballot initiatives in the City of Naples.

She utilizes her specialized knowledge of the legislative process and issues management to service clients that have interests in federal, state and local government. Her background includes work at Public Affairs Consultants, Inc., a Tallahassee-based lobbying firm.

Mikes has handled a variety of accounts including corporate, small business, associations, financial and legal services, agriculture, environment, real estate and transportation.

A native of Florida, Mikes participates in community activities focused on education and mentoring future leaders. She graduated Cum Laude from The Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with an emphasis on business.

Mikes is a graduate of the 2005-2006 Leadership Bonita class. She is a member of the board of directors for the Agriculture Institute of Florida and active in the Economic Development Council of Collier County, as well as the planning committee for the NCH Hospital Ball. She is the communications chair for the Neapolitan Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association and a member of the Public Relations Society of America.

Mikes currently serves the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity for women, as Membership District Director in district five, supervising recruitment efforts at 13 chapters throughout the Southeastern United States.
