MIAMI LIGHTHOUSE FOR THE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED HONORS RAY CASAS AS A LEAVE A LEGACY® “DONOR NEXT DOOR”

Ray Casas was honored during the 10th annual Leave a Legacy "Donor Next Door" luncheon on May 7, 2010. Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired recognized Casas as a leader dedicated to service and strategies. He has served two terms as president and a total of 18 years in key leadership positions on the Board of Directors of the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired since 1992, including 10 years on the executive committee.
Ray's firm, Wragg & Casas provides pro bono services to the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired including drafting and distribution of news releases, media relations and counsel on communications issues. Ray has provided important communications services and counsel throughout the years as a volunteer. Whenever an issue arose, Ray has been there with critical strategic advice.
Leave a Legacy is a program of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning of Miami-Dade (PPP). PPP is comprised of non-profit professionals and allied professionals involved in estate and financial planning who share the goal of promoting planned giving and philanthropy.
Leave a Legacy is a community program that promotes the personal and community benefits of charitable giving, provides assistance and encouragement to fund-raising programs, and encourages professionals to counsel clients regarding the opportunities associated with planned giving.
