MARK SELL JOINS WRAGG & CASAS PUBLIC RELATIONS
MIAMI — October 29, 2007 - Veteran public relations consultant Mark Sell has joined Wragg & Casas Public Relations as director of client services. In that capacity he will expand the firm's capacity to provide public relations and strategic business counseling to the firm's growing family of law firms, other professional services and corporate clients.
Sell, a former journalist, has been president of Mark Sell Communications, Inc., since 1995, focusing on professional services and public affairs consulting.
Sell has held leadership positions in the profession and community. He is a recent president of the Miami Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, and is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) under the nationwide Universal Accreditation Board. A former board member of Leadership Miami. he has been active with numerous community, civic, church and school boards and organizations throughout his 25 years in South Florida, and has received many recognitions for volunteer service.
Sell held senior editing and writing positions at the Sun-Sentinel, where he launched the weekly Monday business supplement, The Miami Herald, and the Daily Business Review, where he won regional and national awards for investigative, feature and deadline writing and reporting.
Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in St. Paul, Minn., Sell is a graduate of Columbia University in New York City and was a Davenport Fellow in Business Journalism at the University of Missouri. He lives in Miami Shores with his wife, Cheryl, and their two daughters.
