Account Coordinator

No two days at Wragg & Casas are ever the same, but here’s an idea of what your work here might look like:
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for client and agency initiatives
  • Research topics and quickly grasp concepts
  • Research media outlets and create targeted media lists
  • Write press releases and by-lined articles
  • Develop pitches for news media
  • Pitch story ideas and news events to print, TV and radio journalists/producers
  • Assist with interviews, photo shoots and events
  • Be comfortable and professional interacting with clients
  • Track and analyze traditional and social coverage for client impacts
  • Assist with digital marketing strategies
  • Research, develop and place traditional and digital advertising
  • Develop social media content calendars and draft content
  • Shoot and edit video
  • Research and develop community outreach plans including speaking engagements, awards and partnerships
  • Track editorial calendars for pitching opportunities
  • Write project summaries and case studies
  • Assist with writing proposals
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, public relations, marketing, business, or another related field
  • Two internships or one year of experience in public relations
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, lover of AP Style
  • Confident, well-spoken individual who is comfortable interacting with reporters/editors, cold call pitching and building relationships with media
  • Self-starter and a team player
  • Must be an avid consumer of all things media – news, social, blogs, video
  • Experience with social media
  • Knowledge of Meltwater, Canva, HootSuite, Tweepi, and related social media tools
  • Bilingual a plus
